Queen of the Ring Coronation
SmackDown GM Nick Aldis introduces the 2024 Queen of the Ring, Nia Jax. Nia Jax joins Aldis in the ring. Aldis gives the ring to Jax and walks away. Jax dons her crown and reminds the crowd she is their Queen of the Ring. With the crown comes a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship. Bayley’s Queen demands her presence in the Queen’s ring right now. Bayley’s music hits. Bayley walks to the ring.
Piper Niven and Chelsea Green attack Bayley from behind. Niven tosses Bayley into the ring and flattens her with a low crossbody. Niven gets in Jax’s face. Green grabs a mic and tells Jax that when it comes to SummerSlam, Jax won’t be facing Bayley. Jax will be facing the new champion, Piper Niven. Jax says she doesn’t give a damn who the champion is. Comes SummerSlam, Jax is going to annihilate whoever has that title.
In the trainer’s room, Bayley is getting her shoulder checked out. Naomi walks in and checks in to check on her friend. Bayley says she’s good. Naomi asks if Bayley can fight tonight. Bayley asks the doctor. The doctor says she’s cleared. Bayley says she’s in. Naomi says she is going to talk to Nick Aldis.
Tomasso Ciampa w/Johnny Gargano vs. WWE Tag Team Champion Austin Theory w/Grayson Waller
Theory and Ciampa trade shots. Waller accidentally distracts Theory. Ciampa rolls up Theory for the win.
Winner- Tomasso Ciampa
Backstage, Naomi interrupts Blair Davenport while she is talking to Nick Aldis. Davenport threatens Naomi. Naomi ignores her and gets confirmation on her tag match with Bayley tonight. Aldis says he is waiting for someone who has an appointment. LA Knight walks in and asks Aldis where United States Champion Logan Paul is. Alids tells Knight to sit down so they can chat.
After the break, Knight leaves Aldis’ office and notes that he didn’t get the answer he was looking for. Logan Paul isn’t here, but Knight is. And he wants the United States Championship. Carmelo Hayes walks in and mocks Knight for being all talk.

Andrade vs. Apollo Crews
Andrade lands a dropkick and gets a near fall. Crews slowly gets on his feet. Andrade gets distracted when Angel of Legado del Fantasma walks down to the ring. Crews sends Andrade out to the floor and lands a moonsault off the apron. After the break, Andrade lands a crossbody off the top. Andrade and Crews trade blows. Crews press slams Andrade off the top and lands a standing moonsault. Angel gets up on the apron. Crews knocks Angel off the apron. Andrade obliterates Crews with his feint spinning back elbow. Andrade hits his finish for the win.
Winner- Andrade
After the match, Angel cheers. Andrade realizes what happened. The rest of Legado del Fantasma walk out on the stage. Andrade walks right by Santos Escobar and heads to the back. Escobar shoots Angel a death stare. A frightened Angel scurries backstage to speak to Andrade.
In-Ring Segment: Kevin Owens
Owens says he returned to WWE at King and Queen of the Ring because he wanted to have Randy Orton’s back. Orton isn’t here tonight, but Solo and The Bloodline are. Paul Heyman interrupts. Heyman babbles about having common ground with Owens. Owens tells Heyman to save it and get in the ring. The crowd chants that they want Roman. Heyman says there isn’t a person here who wants Roman Reigns here more than he does. Heyman notes that Owens keeps calling out Solo Sikoa. Reigns has great respect for Owens. Sikoa, on the other hand, does not.
The people currently in the Bloodline are people that they (Heyman and Reigns) didn’t want in the Bloodline. They are too savage. Solo and company aren’t looking for a reason to take out Owens; they are looking for an excuse. Owens says he isn’t buying Heyman’s shtick. He knows Heyman is pulling all the strings here. Owens says he is going to keep fighting, and he doesn’t want or need Heyman’s help. Heyman says maybe he isn’t trying to help Owens. Maybe he’s just trying to save Owens. Heyman rants about how many times Owens has redeemed himself, and no one believes that Heyman can as well.
He doesn’t want Solo leading the Bloodline. In a huff, Heyman accidentally hits Owens with the microphone. Heyman tries to apologize. Owens lunges at Heyman. Solo Sikoa’s music hits. Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa stomp down to the ring. Owens stands tall. The Street Profits hop the barricade and stand with Owens. A brawl breaks out. Owens and The Street Profits clear the ring. Dawkins lands a dive that takes out Loa and Tonga.
The Street Profits vs. The Bloodline (Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga) w/Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman
The Tongans are in control early, working over Ford. Ford manages to tag in Dawkins. Dawkins clears the ring. Loa gets a blind tag and surprises Dawkins with a nasty lariat. Saito Suplex by Loa. Tonga and Loa beat down Dawkins outside the ring. After the break, Ford tags in and floors Tonga with a clothesline. Loa sends Ford in the air, but Ford does a backflip and lands on his feet. Enziguri by Ford. Dawkins and Ford hit the Doomsday Blockbuster. Tonga breaks up the pin. Tonga gets a blind tag. Dawkins and Ford hit their finish on Loa. As soon as Ford lands his splash. Tonga hits him with the Complete Shot for the win.
Winners- The Bloodline
Backstage, Michin says she doesn’t know what’s going on with AJ Styles. Styles hasn’t been speaking to her or any of the other members of The OC. Nia Jax walks in and says she doesn’t understand why anyone is talking about Styles tonight. Everyone should be talking about the Queen of the Ring. Michin says she was speaking. Jax tells Michin not to step to her Queen. Michin gets right in Jax’s face. Jax tells Michin that she will regret that.
Naomi and Bayley vs. Piper Niven and Chelsea Green
Niven and Green beat down Bayley in their corner. Bayley surprises Green with a suplex. Naomi tags in. Naomi lands a dive that takes out Green. Bayley floors Niven with a diving elbow off the apron. After the break, Niven and Green work over Bayley. Bayley manages to tag in Naomi. Naomi takes out Green and knocks Niven off the apron with a dropkick.
After a low dropkick in the corner, Naomi lands a Split-legged Moonsault. Niven breaks up the pin and pulls Green out of the ring. Naomi lands a corkscrew splash to the outside. Green tries to pin Naomi. Bayley breaks up the pin. Green tries her finish. Naomi reverses it into the Rear View. Naomi tries to in Green. Niven breaks up the pin with a senton, crushing her partner and Naomi. Niven puts Green on top of Naomi. The referee counts the pin.

In-Ring Segment: AJ Styles w/Gallows and Anderson
Styles says he’s been thinking about what SmackDown GM Nick Aldis said last week. If Styles wants another shot at Cody Rhodes, he will have to go to the back of the line. He’s been doing this for over two decades. Last week, his son graduated from high school. Styles got to be there for that moment, and Styles thought to himself, instead of being the Phenomenal One, maybe he should stay home and be a phenomenal dad.
Styles hugs Gallows and Anderson and tells them that he loves them. The three former Bullet Club members too sweet each other for the last time. Styles notes that he whispered something in Rhodes’ ear before he came out here, so if Rhodes joins him in the ring right now, Styles would appreciate it. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes joins Styles in the ring. Styles puts over Rhodes and says their match in France was one of the best he ever had.
Rhodes puts over Styles. Styles tells Rhodes this is the house AJ Styles built, and he’s here to hand Rhodes the keys. Rhodes and Styles embrace. Rhodes holds up Styles’ hand, and they both play to the crowd. Styles almost decapitated Rhodes with a lariat. Gallows and Anderson block the aisleway while Styles assaults Rhodes. Styles hits the Styles Clash off the ring steps.
