There are “no creative plans” to reunite an AEW tag team according to a new report.

Following Big Bill’s recent decision to sit under the Learning Tree of Chris Jericho, there have been questions from fans regarding what this would mean for his tag team with Ricky Starks.
Starks and Bill had formed a successful unit towards the end of 2023 and would rather shockingly go on to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships from FTR on the October 7 episode of Collision,

This reign would last almost five months, with the pair dropping the titles to Sting & Darby Allin prior to the former’s final match at Revolution 2024 in March.
Following this however, the pair would only compete once more on AEW TV, that being an AEW Tag Title tournament quarter final match on the March 30 AEW Collision – a match that ended abruptly following an injury scare to Starks.

Now, as Starks remains off TV and Bill begins a new partnership with Jericho, Fightful Select have provided an update on AEW’s plans for the pair, or shall I say lack thereof.
According to the report AEW have “no creative plans” to continue the Starks and Bill pairing, with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp being told this as far back as when they dropped the AEW Tag Titles to Sting and Allin.
Both Starks and Bill were reportedly ready to move on to “different projects”, however, there was said to be no ill-will between the two stars – instead both reportedly felt the team had run its course on AEW TV.
