AEW stars have reacted to their win at WrestleDream 2024 with a classic response to explain why they didn’t take the loss.

Responding to a tweet of a Fightful report noting that “some people in AEW” pushed for Private Party to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship at WrestleDream, the Young Bucks made their thoughts known.
Taking to Twitter, the shared account for Nicholas and Matthew Jackson seemingly addressed the report with a classic professional wrestling trope.

The account simply tweeted:

The classic reference is of course related to previous generations of stars, namely Hulk Hogan, who apparently outright refused to lose to certain opponents, poking fun at this match finish in which the company EVPs came out on top.
The Young Bucks successfully defending their AEW World Tag Team Championship at WrestleDream 2024 in a high flying match against Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen).
Also at the event, Jack Perry from The Elite also successfully defended his TNT Championship against Katsuyori Shibata, however he was met by a potential troupe of challengers after the match.
Perry’s celebration would be cut short by the appearance of Daniel Garcia which summoned the return of MJF and then brought about the return of Adam Cole.
