With the beginning of the Road to WrestleMania almost upon us at the 2024 Royal Rumble, there is a curious change being made for the event at the very end of that same road: that being the Raw after WrestleMania 40.

The Raw after ‘Mania is traditionally one of the most exciting show’s of the year, with surprise returns, debuts, NXT call-ups etc all among WWE’s usual calling-cards.
While it doesn’t always live up to it’s billing, it seems as if WWE may be gearing us all up for an extra special show on April 8, based on newly released details regarding the show’s seating and staging area.

According to WrestleTix, the Wells Fargo Center is currently set to house a total 16,909 fans, with 15,905 tickets distributed at this time of writing.
However, what is interesting is a separate note from WrestleTix which reveals that WWE are planning to forgo a traditional stage setup for the Raw after ‘Mania, a move typically done for venues hosting Premium Live Events.

This allows for extra seating capacity and more ticket sales; something that given the traditionally high demand for the show makes great sense for the company.
As noted by WrestleTix, WWE’s previous visit of the Wells Fargo center was back on January 23, 2023 for the special 30th anniversary of Raw; an event that was sold out with a total of 14,451 in attendance.
