On the July 29 episode of WWE Raw, Karrion Kross verbally laid into the absent Kofi Kingston to get under the skin of Xavier Woods.

Kross has made a concerted effort over the past weeks to convince Woods that joining the Final Testament is in his best interest.
Woods has, so far, continued to represent The New Day, despite Kingston not being by his side and Big E also being absent.
Last seen on the June 24 episode of WWE Raw, Kingston made his in-ring return at the WWE SuperShow Summer Tour of Japan, teaming with Woods.

Kross addressed Kingston’s return during last night’s WWE Raw while talking to Woods, revealing that he wasn’t at the show in Minnesota, saying:
“Now, I was just notified that Kofi Kingston reinjured his shoulder on the Japan tour and that’s why he’s not here tonight.
“Do you really believe that? I think Kofi’s skipped town for two reasons:
“One, because the whole world, for once, isn’t revolving around him; it’s revolving around you and he can’t stand that.
“And, the other reason he’s skipped town is because, let’s face it, nobody wants to be in this hell-hole Minnesota.”

Kross would go on to try to convince Woods to join The Final Testament in order to avoid the ‘beating’ he would otherwise receive on WWE Raw.
He also wanted Kross to “tell all the little kids at home that Power of Positivity was always one big lie.”

Kross would also have a message for Kingston that he wanted Woods to relay to the injured star, saying:
“Here’s the last thing and it’s not that big of a deal but it is really important to me.
“I want you to tell that one-armed b**tard that he should have retired after he lost the WWE title in just six seconds.”

That would be enough for Woods who attacked Kross, although it wouldn’t be enough to secure the win, as can be seen below this news story.
Kingston has now reacted to the verbal attack to correct the statement made by Kross, tweeting:

On the October 4, 2019, episode of SmackDown, Kingston lost the WWE Championship in just eight seconds to Brock Lesnar.
