WWE Raw commentator Pat McAfee has confirmed that this week’s episode will be his last, announcing his WWE hiatus.

Pat McAfee took to his Instagram story to share a video of himself, on what he confirmed will be his last Monday Night Raw Monday for a while.
Noting that he woke up emotional about his final appearance before his hiatus, McAfee said:

“Tonight will be my last trip to that wonderful WWE family for a while, I’m bummed out.
“Football season is starting which is awesome but the WWE family is where i’m supposed to be, I know that and I hope they do too.”

McAfee is set to return to College Gameday when the show returns at the beginning of the football season.
This is all ahead of Joe Tessitore officially joining the WWE broadcast team.
Tessitore will begin with WWE on the September 2 edition of Raw.
While it hasn’t been confirmed who Tessitore’s commentary partners will be, it was previously announced that Michael Cole will move to SmackDown following Tessitore’s arrival.
