New WWE tournament announced

In a backstage segment on tonight’s August 19 episode of Raw, WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker had an interview segment with Cathy Kelley.
During the chat, Breakker noted that WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce had created an entire number one contender’s tournament to determine who would go on to face him.
Bron Breakker vowed to take out whichever star advances to win a title shot against him for the Intercontinental Championship.

The tournament will kick off on next week’s August 26 episode of Raw.
As of now, the only participant that’s been announced is Jey Uso.
We’ll keep you posted as and when more participants and matches are confirmed.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE Raw, the New Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, JD McDonagh and Carlito) would end up waging a beatdown on both Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley.
In the end, the Terror Twins were left laid out at the feet of their former faction ahead of their mixed tag match against Liv and Dom at WWE Bash in Berlin.
