The new commentary team for WWE Raw has now been confirmed as a shakeup within the company’s announce team is imminent.

With Pat McAfee’s break for football season and WWE’s upcoming season premieres on new broadcast platforms, the commentary teams for Raw and SmackDown are being shuffled around.
As confirmed by Sports Business Journal, starting September 2, the WWE Raw announce team on USA Network will be Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett.

Tessitore is making his WWE announcing debut, while Barrett has been on the SmackDown team with Corey Graves in recent months.
Graves will be staying on SmackDown, where he’ll be joined by Michael Cole moving over from Raw.

SmackDown premieres on the USA Network starting September 13.
When Raw moves to Netflix in January, the plan is for Cole to move back to Raw and for Pat McAfee to return, so the Cole and McAfee partnership can reunite.
While not confirmed, that likely means a three-man team, which had been reported previously, of Tessitore, Graves and Barrett for SmackDown from that point onwards.
