Here’s what happened with former WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns after he was attacked by the Bloodline on SmackDown.
With Roman Reigns returning at SummerSlam and laying out the Bloodline on last Friday’s show, the OTC had made an impact with his WWE return appearances.
Things took a turn for Roman on this week’s show, with Reigns attacked by Jacob Fatu after momentarily regaining his Ula Fala lei.
Fatu, Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa then put Reigns through the announcer’s table with a triple powerbomb. The show went off the air with the trio standing tall over Roman Reigns in the ring.
WWE has now shared a new clip to social media from after the live broadcast ended.
In the video, which you can view below, Roman Reigns left the ringside area under his own power, walking to the back alone.
While he didn’t do his “ones” taunt, he did remove one of his shirts to give to a fan.
Jey Uso, who was not part of this segment, was involved in a non-televised dark match which took place after the show.
Jey cut a heartfelt promo on behalf of his family, which you can read more about right here.
