Details on the new lead producer for WWE NXT following the departure of Kevin Dunn at the start of the year have been revealed.

When Kevin Dunn left WWE at the beginning of 2024, Lee Fitting was named as the new head of WWE’s production and presentation on the main roster.
However, Fitting does not fill that role in NXT, despite Kevin Dunn doing so during his time in the company.

In an update from Fightful Select, the man that has filled in the gap in NXT since Dunn left is the Vice President of Line Producing, Brian Fadem.
WWE sources told Fightful that Fadem would previously be the man filling in for Dunn if he were absent from a WWE event, and has been serving as NXT’s lead producer since Dunn’s departure.

Production sources also told Fightful that Fadem has ‘hit the ground running’ in his new role, with one source noting that ‘it was like he picked up someone else’s tools, cleaned them off and used them like they were new again’.
As far as talent goes, those that spoke to Fightful noted that Fadem is much more open to suggestions from the talent on camera shots and other factors of production, with the belief that Dunn was restricting the creativity of NXT’s production being a common one throughout the brand.
However, while Fadem is established, numerous production sources have said that there are other names on the brand who are learning the lead producer role, with Fadem not being the lead producer for the April 30 episode of NXT, as another name was learning to serve the role of lead producer in NXT.
