After being announced for an actual match during his upcoming appearance on WWE NXT, Randy Orton has revealed his opponent.
On tonight’s WWE NXT, there was a backstage moment featuring Je’Von Evans looking to ‘shoot his shot’ and ask Ava for a match when the NXT makes a two-part debut on The CW.
Shortly after that segment, Randy Orton wrote on Twitter:

Evans had a match on tonight’s episode, as he teamed with Cedric Alexander in a win over Myles Borne and Tavion Heights of No Quarter Catch Crew.
The tweet from Orton was then shown on the screen in the arena, with Evans reacting in the ring.
There was also official confirmation with a match graphic later in the show.
