WrestleMania 40 takes place in April 2024, but WWE is looking towards the future for the 2025 edition of the Premium Live Event.
The upcoming PLE takes place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 6 & 7.
As for WrestleMania 41 in 2025, PWInsider reports that the “front runner” for the event has been Minneapolis, marking the first time the event would be heading there.
Minneapolis has previously held one of the “big four” WWE events, with SummerSlam in 1999.
The report further notes, however, that “some rumblings” have emerged about the flagship event taking place in Las Vegas instead.
WrestleMania IX took place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on April 4, 1993.
The report concludes that, under Endeavor, “old traditions and plans are out the window for whatever they deem to be the best moves for the company.”
The location of the following year’s WrestleMania is typically announced during the current year’s WrestleMania.
The teaser trailer for WrestleMania 40 was released on February 11, 2024, featuring The Rock, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
