Jey Uso has shared his honest thoughts on his WrestleMania 40 match, explaining why he feels the bout turned out to be a let down.

Main Event Jey faced off against his twin brother Jimmy Uso on WrestleMania 40 Saturday, in a match that both men had previously stated was their dream bout for the Show of Shows.
Many fans have criticised the match and how it played out, with Jey Uso picking up a win after 11 minutes of action.
In an interview with Gorilla Position, Jey Uso noted that time was cut from the match, leading to time issues.

Noting that he’s still happy that he got to face his brother in a singles match at WrestleMania, Jey Uso said:
“I just said this to someone. I kinda felt like we did let the people down. (Really, you feel that?) Yeah, man, cuz I wanted to go out there and have a straight up banger too. I wanted to do the wrestling part but let alone make sure the emotion part is there.
“It was just a time issue. You know what I’m saying? You just gotta play your position on the team. That’s what happened. I’m still happy though, uce, I got a singles match at WrestleMania with my brother.
“That’s a big picture. So, I’mma always have me and him in a face-off at WrestleMania. I’mma frame a picture, that’s always, it’s marked off our box. I just wish we could have went the way I know we can, but…”

When asked if he only found out that his match had time cut on the night, Jey said:
“Oh, yeah. ‘Yo, yo, man, they went over this many minutes. Sorry, sorry, You know, it’s all good, you know. Just go out there and handle business.”

Jey Uso is slated to challenge for Damian Priest’s World Heavyweight Championship at the May 4 Backlash premium live event.
