WWE has clarified how the entrants in the men’s and women’s 2024 Money in the Bank ladder matches in Toronto will be determined.

On commentary during tonight’s WWE Raw, Michael Cole noted that qualifying matches for the Money in the Bank ladder matches will begin next week.
While already some stars have stated their intentions that that they’re targeting the Money in the Bank briefcase, it’s now confirmed that entrants will need to win a qualifying match to enter, rather than simply ‘declaring’ their participation as has sometimes been the case in the past.
Thus far, the actual lineups for the qualifying matches haven’t been confirmed, but we’ll keep you posted when that happens.
Those who have mentioned Money in the Bank in promos so far, and therefore likely to be in the match or at the very least will be in the qualifying matches, are Jey Uso, Lyra Valkyria and Ludwig Kaiser.

The WWE Money in the Bank premium live event is set for July 6 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
However, before then, there is still another premium live event to get through before the chase for the briefcase begins.
WWE’s Clash at the Castle is live from Glasgow, Scotland this Saturday, June 15, 2024.

Elsewhere on tonight’s show, Drew McIntyre is set to take on Finn Balor in a match suggested by Damian Priest to up the stakes for their upcoming bout.
In the event McIntyre wins, the Judgment Day faction will be barred from ringside for the title bout between McIntyre and Priest at Clash at the Castle..
