The first WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 participant was revealed on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw (February 5).
It was Shayna Baszler taking on Becky Lynch to determine who would advance to the Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia.
At the end of the match, Becky Lynch picked up the victory and was the first to be added to this year’s Chamber match, which will have WrestleMania implications.
Since Bayley elected to face IYO SKY at WrestleMania 40, the Mania opponent for Rhea Ripley and the WWE Women’s World Championship will be determined via the Elimination Chamber.
Elsewhere in Elimination Chamber news for Rhea Ripley, when Ripley attempted to take over tonight’s show to demand the presence of Nia Jax, some more news broke.
While Adam Pearce announced a match for Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax at Elimination Chamber for the title, Jax would strike anyway.
Yet another segment with Rhea Ripley ended in Nia Jax dropping an A-Nia-lator on the champion.
