A top WWE star has shared an emotional reflection on the incredible crowd reaction from yesterday’s Backlash event in Lyon, France.
WWE’s first ever premium live event from France took place yesterday, with many considering the crowd to be among, if not the very, best in the history of the company.
One WWE star who was greeted with an insane reaction in Lyon was ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso, who had an incredible entrance ahead of his World Heavyweight Championship match with Damian Priest.
While Jey did end up losing the match, his entrance was all that was being talked about, with Jey entering through the crowd, who serenaded him with his signature dance while holding the lights up on their phones, similar to Bray Wyatt’s old ‘Fireflies’.
Taking to Instagram today, Jey reflected on the entrance, paying tribute to the late WWE legend.
He shared photos of himself in the arena before the show, as well as clips from his entrance, saying:
Jey also had a brief backstage interaction with the Bloodline on the show, alongside their newest member Tanga Loa.
