On tonight’s August 13 episode of WWE NXT there were several matches announced for the upcoming premium live event, No Mercy.
In the opening segment, as we covered earlier, Joe Hendry stated that he plans on challenging Ethan Page for the NXT Championship.
While not officially announced, the most likely destination for that match is the September 1 No Mercy event.
After Hendry made that challenge, he was attacked from behind by Wes Lee, who seemed to potentially getting involved in the NXT Title picture.
However, Lee later laid out his own challenge for a different match at No Mercy, calling out his former tag team partner Zachary Wentz of MSK/The Rascalz.
In addition to those two matches seemingly set up for No Mercy, an NXT Women’s Championship match was confirmed as well.
However, we’ll have to wait until next week to find out who Roxanne Perez’s challenger will be.
NXT General Manager Ava confirmed that there will be a six-woman ‘eliminator gauntlet’ match next week to determine Perez’s No Mercy opponent.
The six women who will be part of the gauntlet match are Wren Sinclair, Adriana Rizzo, Sol Ruca, Jaida Parker, Karmen Petrovic and Kendal Grey.
