After being out of action for nearly three months, Sammy Guevara returned on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

As the Don Callis family was in the ring, Callis revealed even more special portraits for his faction members.
With separate paintings representing his relationship with each member of his family, one member was left out but made his return before the end of the segment.
Sammy Guevara made his AEW return to television as he came to the ring and despite Callis showing him his own portrait, featuring his new baby girl, Guevara was unamused.
With Sammy turning against his heel faction and eventually being subject to a beatdown by the squad, he was saved by none other than his former tag team partner, Chris Jericho.

While Jericho and Guevara attempted to fight off the Family, Ricky Starks and Big Bill appeared to also get shots in.
Guevara’s last AEW in-ring appearance was on October 1 at the AEW pay-per-view, WrestleDream where he teamed with the Family and reportedly suffered a concussion.
If you feel like you’ve seen Sammy Guevara more recently than that, it could be because he recently welcomed an adorable baby daughter.

With both he and fellow AEW star and Mama Tay Melo sharing photos of their baby daughter on social media, Guevara actually hasn’t been seen on AEW television in months.
Seemingly reuniting with Chris Jericho to re-form their ‘Le Sex Gods’ tag team, perhaps a name change is in their future!
While no replacement AEW Tag Team Championship match was announced for AEW Worlds End, two more matches were made official for the pay-per-view.

Swerve Strickland has accepted a challenge from his former tag team partner, Keith Lee which was later made official in the show.
Also added to AEW Worlds End, Andrade el Idolo versus Miro after the latter challenged his ‘hot and flexible’ wife CJ Perry’s client to a match at the pay-per-view
