A currently absent top AEW star was reportedly backstage at this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite in Orlando.
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker has not appeared on AEW television since the September 16 episode of AEW Collision, when she came up short in her TBS Championship match with Kris Statlander.
Since then, Baker has been absent for the show, with it being reported today in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that she was out of action due to an injury.
However, though Britt was not on the show, per Fightful Select (subscription required), Baker was backstage at this week’s show in Orlando after being out of action since September.
Baker was simply visiting the show backstage, and was obviously not used in an on-screen capacity.
It is not yet known when Baker is set to return to the ring.
Baker’s boyfriend Adam Cole is also currently out of action with an injury, suffering a broken ankle back at AEW Grand Slam during a run in during the AEW World Championship match between MJF and Samoa Joe.
Fans have speculated that Baker could be revealed as the ‘Devil’ in AEW due to her relationship with Adam Cole.
