On AEW Collision it was revealed that Swerve Strickland would face a former WWE star in an upcoming match on Dynamite.
On AEW Collision, the ‘Dealer’s Choice’ mystery opponents for an upcoming pair of matches for Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page were revealed.
While Hangman would be informed that his opponent for the upcoming match on Dynamite would be Mogul Embassy star Toa Liona, Page had a surprise for Swerve.
After prolonging the announcement throughout the show, it was revealed that Hangman Adam Page had selected Rob Van Dam to face Swerve Strickland.
The former WWE star has already featured in AEW in several matches including a losing effort against Jack Perry before teaming with HOOK in Fall 2023.
His last AEW match was in late October when he and HOOK defeated Alex Reynolds and John Silver on Dynamite.
RVD of course is well known in professional wrestling for not only his time in WWE but also notably ECW & TNA Wrestling.
Elsewhere on AEW Collision, Serena Deeb made her in-ring return after being out of action for over 15 months.
Deeb won her in-ring return against Robyn Renegade.
