An AEW star has officially joined a faction on tonight’s episode of Dynamite (May 29) after the spot was offered to another.
After several weeks of scouting, Don Callis had an in-ring segment to reveal the AEW star he was offering a big contact to join his ‘Family’ faction.
Callis called out Orange Cassidy who would go on to rip the contract in half before the pair were interrupted.
Stokely Hathaway and Kris Statlander appeared on the ramp and instead, introduced everyone to the actual newest member of the Don Callis Family.
Trent Beretta attacked Orange Cassidy from behind and went on to wage a bloody assault.
In the end, Callis and Beretta hugged in the middle of the ring with Don Callis putting his foot on Orange Cassidy for good measure.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, it was revealed that the next TNT Championship would be determined via a series of qualifying matches leading to a ladder match at Forbidden Door on June 30, 2024 on pay-per-view.
