Amid discussion that he was being heavily courted by WWE, it seems that one star is electing to remain All Elite in AEW.

On tonight’s special ‘Title Tuesday’ edition of AEW Dynamite, a familiar face made his return despite recent rumors that he could be WWE bound.
On tonight’s Dynamite, Daniel Garcia returned to AEW and delivered a fiery in-ring promo about his decision to remain All Elite, during which he said:
“I feel like, because I am one of the best professionals in the world, that it’s only right that I stay where the best wrestle – AEW.”

In a backstage segment after the commercial break, Garcia was shown being greeted by numerous members of the AEW locker room (including even an appearance by Colt Cabana) when he was lastly met by Katsuyori Shibata.
Shibata noted that after AEW WrestleDream, the TNT Championship would be around his waist (as he has a match against Jack Perry) and then the pair shook hands.
It had previously been reported that not only was WWE interested in signing Garcia, but that they were ‘chomping at the bit’ to do so.

Garcia’s contract was believed to be coming up soon, so he technically never became a free agent.
However, taking time to make his decision led to him not winning his match against MJF at All Out which he reportedly would have won if he’d re-signed before the match took place.
