A backstage report has shared further details on Kyle O’Reilly’s return to AEW TV at Revolution 2024, and what it could potentially mean for a full reunion of former WWE faction the Undisputed Era.

Following Roderick Strong’s successful capturing of the AEW International Championship at Revolution 2024, he and the rest of the Undisputed Kingdom were greeted by an old friend – the returning Kyle O’Reilly.
O’Reilly hadn’t been seen on AEW TV in almost two years, being forced to undergo neck fusion surgery, which unfortunately resulted in complications after the fact.
Despite being offered an Undisputed Kingdom t-shirt, O’Reilly refused, leaving his status within the group in doubt.

While fans will no doubt be ecstatic to see O’Reilly healthy enough to return to TV, a question that is likely to arise is whether we could potentially see the full Undisputed Era reunite under an AEW roof for the first time.
After a legendary near-four year run in WWE NXT, the original trio of the group: Adam Cole, O’Reilly and Bobby Fish did reunite for a spell in AEW in 2021/2022.
However, one key piece of the puzzle was missing: Roderick Strong – who was still under WWE contract at the time.

Frustratingly for fans, by the time Strong did sign with AEW in the Spring of 2023, Fish had departed the company and O’Reilly was out injured – meaning we never got to see the full band back together.
However, now with O’Reilly back and coming face-to-face with his former partners Strong and Cole, could it finally be time for an Undisputed Era reunion?
Well, according to Fightful Select, the answer unfortunately seems to be a no as of right now, with AEW reportedly not having recently held talks with Bobby Fish regarding a return to the company.

In fact, as suggested by O’Reilly’s refusal of the Undisputed Kingdom’s advances, AEW may have no plans to even reunite O’Reilly with his former teammates Cole and Strong.
According to Fightful’s report, a “different direction” has been in the works for O’Reilly for months.
It remains to be seen how this will develop on screen, but stay locked to WrestleTalk for any further updates if they become available.
