Following the announcement, a new report has revealed a backstage update on the MJF vs. Will Ospreay AEW All In match.

On AEW Dynamite 250, MJF defeated Will Ospreay to win the AEW International Championship in a near-60 minute match.
The following week, Maxwell Jacob Friedman threw the International Title in the trash and introduced the AEW American Championship.
Ospreay interrupted this segment to announce that he will have his rematch against Friedman for the International Championship on Sunday, August 25 at AEW All In London.
Fightful Select provided an update, noting that Ospreay’s All In creative to face MJF had been planned for months prior to his AEW World Championship match against Swerve Strickland at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

The report notes that there was some discussion as to whether or not the company would do the one hour match between Ospreay and Friedman leading up to their All In match.
However, there were creative plans for Ospreay and MJF to carry a feud throughout the summer all the way to AEW All In before MJF’s return to the company at Double Or Nothing in May.
Those within AEW believe the American Championship was a temporary move to get more heat on MJF ahead of All In at Wembley.

The report also notes that a goal for the International Championship within this feud is to continue to “elevate” it.
MJF is also set to defend his AEW American Championship against Templario in CMLL on Friday, August 2 at Arena Mexico and against Michael Oku in Rev Pro on Sunday, August 11.
JJA Sport Studio will provide any further updates on the MJF vs. Will Ospreay AEW All In match when they become available.
