CM Punk has addressed AEW’s decision to air the footage of his backstage incident at All In London 2023 with Jack Perry.

In April, Ariel Helwani interviewed CM Punk with Punk commenting on his time in AEW and saying what he could about the situations that arose during his time in the company.
Just a few days after that interview, AEW aired the CCTV footage of what happened with Punk and Jack Perry backstage at Wembley Stadium in August 2023.
That incident that ultimately led to Punk being fired from AEW, paving the way for his return to WWE

In a new interview with Jimmy Traina for SI Media, CM Punk has commented on AEW’s decision to air that footage, saying:
“It felt really ugly, but then I was just like… showing that footage isn’t gonna help them or hurt me, so I was just like, ‘whatever’.
“Being the top draw in two different companies is pretty wild. Thanks guys.”

During the same interview, Punk reacted to the report we released earlier today that AEW CEO Tony Khan had a private meeting with Shane McMahon earlier this week.
