Current AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson has commented on Nigel McGuinness making his return at All In London.

At AEW All In London, former ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness made his in-ring return for the first time since 2011 in the Casino Gauntlet Match.
Later in the show, Bryan Danielson defeated Swerve Strickland to keep his career alive and win the AEW World Championship.
Danielson and McGuinness were bitter rivals with a years-long feud in Ring of Honor, battling over the ROH World Title in some of the company’s most memorable matches.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso, Bryan Danielson discussed Nigel McGuinness’ in-ring return at All In London. He said:
“Nigel looked good–he looked real good,”
“I wanted to see his entrance and how the crowd responded to him, and I loved the stuff between him and Okada.”
“As I was preparing, I missed the interplay between Nigel and Zack Sabre Jr., so I was really looking forward to going back and watching that. It’s incredible he’s back.”

Bryan Danielson is scheduled to face Nigel McGuinness for the first time in nearly 15 years if Bryan is medically cleared to compete this Wednesday, September 25 on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.
Also announced for the show, Darby Allin will face Jon Moxley with Darby’s AEW World Title shot on the line and The Young Bucks will defend the AEW World Tag Team Titles against Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher.
