Another top AEW star currently out of action with an injury has been revealed following a months long absence.
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker has not appeared on AEW television since the September 16 episode of AEW Collision, when she was defeated by Kris Statlander in a TBS Championship match.
Baker’s absence from AEW television has been rather noticeable, with some fans even speculating that she could even be the Devil, due to her relationship with Adam Cole.
However, in an update from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Baker’s absence is reportedly due to her being out of action with an injury.
Meltzer noted:
The reason Britt Baker hasn’t been around apparently is an injury situation.
At the media call, Tony Khan talked about key people out with injuries right now and mentioned Kenny Omega, Pac, Adam Cole, Baker and Jamie
Baker’s boyfriend Adam Cole is also out of action with an injury, suffering a broken ankle back at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam during the main event between MJF and Samoa Joe.
