There has said to have been talk within All Elite Wrestling that a current AEW star’s contract is set to be up ‘soon’.
AEW is set to host it’s first Worlds End pay-per-view tonight, featuring a number of matches featuring top AEW stars.
One of those names is Andrade El Idolo taking on Miro in singles action, with Miro looking to take out Andrade, who is now being managed by Miro’s wife CJ Perry.
It was recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that people within WWE ‘expect’ Andrade to make his return to the company, but that may be happening sooner than expected.
In PWInsider’s AEW Worlds End tip sheet discussing the Miro vs Andrade match, Mike Johnson noted that there has been talk within the company that Andrade’s deal is up ‘soon’.
He wrote:
There’s been talk within the company Andrade’s deal is up soon, so if it is, I suspect he’s taking the submission loss. Crazy that this is his first singles PPV bout, unless I’m really mistaken.
Andrade’s wife, Charlotte Flair, recently re-signed with WWE on a multi-year deal believed to be among the highest deals for a woman in the history of the company.
