An AEW star has fired back at ‘fans’ on social media who had been body shaming them after their recent match.

Former TNA Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo officially became ‘All Elite’ back on January 3, confronting Mariah May following her debut win.
Deonna went on to make her in-ring debut as an AEW talent on last week’s Collision, defeating Red Velvet in singles action.

Unfortunately, some ‘fans’ took to the comments on Deonna’s match on AEW’s Instagram, body shaming the AEW star.
Today, Deonna took to Twitter to fire back at the ‘fans’ who had been body shaming her.

When one fan had suggested not tagging Deonna in comments from the ‘fans’ so she wouldn’t see it, she responded:
Oh, I’ve already seen it. I had a cry then I realized my worth is NOT determined by 1) my body 2) others perception of me.
I am a 5x World Champion. I have worked with nearly every major company in the world. I am one of the greatest wrestlers in the world.
Furthermore, I just earned my bachelors degree. I am looking to start a Master’s program. AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY, I have a husband who thinks I am beautiful whether I’m a size S or M. (I’ve never ever been a size S.)
They are entitled to their opinion and I’m entitled to tell them to kiss this FAT ass.
