Absent AEW MJF star has recently finished wrapping up filming for their second movie role during his ongoing absence from TV.
Former AEW World Champion MJF has not appeared on AEW television since the Worlds End pay-per-view on December 30, but he has kept himself busy in the meantime.
Per Deadline, filming has wrapped on the upcoming Jewish comedy movie ‘The Floaters’, which will see the former World Champion in one of the starring roles.
The lead actors in the movie are Jackie Tohn and Sarah Podemski, with Aya Cash, Judah Lewis, Nina Bloomgarden, Jake Ryan, and Seth Green also joining the cast alongside MJF.
The synopsis of the movie, per Deadline:
The movie follows struggling musician Nomi (Tohn) who accepts a last-resort job from her overachiever best friend Mara (Podemski): mentoring misfit campers, the “Floaters,” at their childhood Jewish summer camp. As the camp struggles to survive amidst competition with a longtime rival, Nomi, the Floaters, and Mara must overcome their differences to bring the community together and save the camp.
MJF made his first movie appearance in the recent Von Erich family biopic ‘The Iron Claw’, in which he portrayed Lance Von Erich and served as an executive producer.
MJF was attacked by former best friend Adam Cole at AEW Worlds End, who revealed himself as The Devil on the show.
