A potential spoiler has emerged on Tony Khan’s announcement for Wednesday’s (February 7) edition of AEW Dynamite.

With a “major” Tony Khan announcement advertised for the show, there has been a lot of speculation about what AEW has in store.
With rumors swirling about Mercedes Mone joining the company, we might have just received a big clue that she’s on her way to AEW.
TD Garden has now shared a new event on Facebook revealing that an AEW Dynamite/Rampage taping will take place on March 13 at the venue in Boston, Massachusetts.

With Mercedes Mone from Boston, it has been speculated that AEW could hold a show similar to Rampage The First Dance in 2021, the show that took place in Chicago for CM Punk’s debut.
This comes after reports that some within AEW expect the former “Sasha Banks” to physically appear for the promotion in March.

It was also previously reported that Tony Khan’s announcement is expected to be related to Mercedes Mone, but the report noted that this hadn’t been explicitly confirmed.
Mercedes interestingly shared a photo of herself within the TD Garden back in December 2023, when WWE held a show there during its Holiday Tour.

While the former women’s champion could be making a return to wrestling there, all signs are pointing to an AEW debut rather than a WWE return.
Mone hasn’t wrestled since suffering ankle injuries in her NJPW STRONG Women’s Title match at the May 2023 NJPW Resurgence show.
She walked out on WWE in May 2022 alongside Naomi, who returned to WWE at Royal Rumble 2024.
