Former WWE star Shelton Benjamin has responded to The Acclaimed’s Max Caster’s reaction to a potential AEW move.

Over the weekend, Fightful Select reported that former WWE Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin had been in talks with AEW.
In response to this news, former AEW World Tag Team Champion Max Caster reacted to a post saying, “We don’t want him,” which angered fans on social media.

On March 11, Shelton Benjamin took to social media to respond to Caster. He wrote:

All Elite Wrestling has been signing some major free agents as of late in former NJPW stars Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada. Rumors and reports have indicated that AEW will be debuting former WWE star Mercedes Mone at this Wednesday’s Big Business event from TD Garden in Boston.
Already announced for the show, Samoa Joe will defend the AEW World Title against Wardlow, Darby Allin will face Jay White, and The Elite’s Kazuchika Okada and The Young Bucks will battle Eddie Kingston, Penta El Zero Miedo and PAC.
