AEW President Tony Khan has revealed his dad Shahid ‘Shad’ Khan’s favorite wrestlers, following his recent appearance on AEW TV.

Tony Khan’s father Shad Khan is a notable businessman, owning NFL team Jacksonville Jaguars, Premier League side Fulham FC, and co-owning AEW, among other companies.
He notably appeared for the company on the April 24 edition of Dynamite, checking on Tony Khan following an attack at the hands of Jack Perry, Kazuchika Okada and the Young Bucks.
Tony Khan has now revealed that Shad Khan does have a list of favorite wrestlers, including the likes of Kenny Omega, MJF and Jon Moxley.

Tony Khan told TV Insider:
“My dad is a big AEW fan. He watches all the time. A few weeks ago I got a text from him during Will Ospreay and Claudio (Castagnoli). He knew them both. He hadn’t seen much of Will Ospreay. He said Ospreay was amazing. I introduced him to Will, and he is now a huge fan of him.
“He is a huge fan of Kenny Omega, MJF, Jon Moxley, Orange Cassidy, Dr. Britt Baker, and recently “Timeless” Toni Storm And Mariah May. Also, he had some nice interactions with Swerve (Strickland).”

Ospreay and Claudio Castagnoli have both been prominently featured on AEW TV recently.
On last week’s (April 24) Dynamite episode, Ospreay won a Casino Gauntlet match to earn a shot at Roderick Strong’s International Championship.

Castagnoli challenged for Swerve Strickland’s AEW World Championship in an 21 minute classic on the April 27 edition of Collision.
Kenny Omega, who has been out of action recovering from diverticulitis is slated to return to AEW TV on Wednesday’s (May 1) Dynamite episode.
