An update has emerged on AEW’s relationship with Warner Bros Discovery, with details about another AEW TV project revealed.
With the promotion’s TV shows currently airing across TBS and TNT, the company had previously established a working relationship with Warner Bros Discovery, which owns both networks.
Ahead of the company’s broadcast deals expiring, it has been reported that the announcement of a new deal is expected to be shared in Summer or Fall.
Per Fightful Select, the exclusivity window between AEW and Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) continues at least into the summer.
In addition to this, it was reported that a pilot for a new AEW-related program with WBD was slated to be announced this week for social channels.
Per this report, the new show was described as not being a reality series, like previous shows Rhodes to the Top or AEW All Access.
Fightful also noted that WBD sources had indicated that the company was interested in adding AEW pay-per-views to Max.
AEW has had several shows away from the ring, and on social channels, with the Johnny Loves Taya YouTube series recently finishing its first season.
