A current AEW star has revealed that a WWE Hall of Famer inspired their ring gear for a recent match on AEW television.
On last night’s episode of Collision, the number one contender for the AEW Women’s World Championship, Serena Deeb, was in action against Anna Jay.
Serena picked up the win in the match, with Luther coming to ringside and stealing her flag during the match, which Toni Storm proceeded to wear as a robe.
After the match, a fan noticed comparisons between Anna’s ring gear for the match and that worn by WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella during her career.
When asked if her gear was inspired by Nikki, Anna simply replied:
