Fans of Tay Melo will have quite a wait before they see her again on AEW television as she undergoes training for her return.

Melo and her husband and fellow AEW star Sammy Guevara welcoming their first child on November 28, 2023.
She was last seen in an AEW ring on January 11 2023, with her last wrestling match being a tag team match with Guevara at NEW Wrestlefest XXVII in March of that year.
Recently, Melo revealed that she has stepped into the ring for the first time since giving birth, noting the “frustration” and having to “hold my tears” as she adjusted to a “whole new body.”
Promising that she would “get stronger”, she also said “it’s a long way to go” before she can return.

She has now revealed that there’s something that she cannot yet do in the ring that is a fundamental part of wrestling, tweeting:

Sammy Guevara, meanwhile, hasn’t been seen in AEW since February 2024, losing to Powerhouse Hobbs on AEW Collision.
Having been suspended as a result of the February 14, 2024, AEW Rampage taping in which “concussion protocol was not followed” in his match with Jeff Hardy, it was recently reported that Guevara is no longer under suspension.
Guevara recently shared a video on social media showing that he, very much like his wife, is also training for an in-ring return, as can be seen below.
