Former AEW TNT Champion Adam Copeland has provided an update on his injury status, confirming that he has now had his surgery.

Adam Copeland defeated Malakai Black to retain his TNT Championship in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match at At AEW Double Or Nothing.
Copeland later confirmed that he fractured his tibia during the match, and needed surgery.

The Rated-R Superstar has now taken to Instagram to share a video from home, confirming that he had undergone surgery.
In the video, which you can watch below, Copeland, who was on crutches and had a foot cast, opened the forbidden door to his gym, because he’s unable to compete at the upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 30.

Confirming that the video was recorded 12 hours post-surgery, Copeland shared footage of himself planking, working all of his body except his injured leg.
Copeland was forced to relinquish his TNT Championship because of his injury, with the TNT Title announced as vacant on the May 29 edition of Dynamite.
After the Young Bucks initially tried to crown Jack Perry the new champion, Christopher Daniels announced that there will be a ladder match to determine a new champion at Forbidden Door.
