Following his entry into this year’s tournament, AEW star Konosuke Takeshita’s opponents in the NJPW Climax 34 has been confirmed.
At the June 16 NJPW Soul event, New Japan Pro Wrestling announce details for this year’s G1 Climax 34, including 18 of the participants in the tournament.
Included in the lineup was AEW star Konosuke Takeshita, who will be competing in his first G1 Climax. The Don Callis Family member will be in the B Block of the tournament, which you can read here.
On June 17, NJPW announced the matches for the A and B Block and when they will take place. This includes the opening night in Osaka on July 20 when Konosuke Takeshita will face Yota Tsuji.
Also, the A Block main event bout will see Tetsuya Naito facing his fellow Los Ingobernables de Japon stablemate Shingo Takagi. The post reads:

The top three point scorers in the A and B Block of the G1 will move on to the playoffs with the top point scorers advancing to the semifinals.
The G1 Climax 34 tournament will run from July 20 to the finals taking place on August 18.
Meanwhile, Konosuke Takeshita will first compete in the TNT Championship Ladder Match on Sunday, June 30 at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Jack Perry, Mark Briscoe and Dante Martin have all advanced for the match as well.
