Tony Khan has addressed reports of AEW planning to hold a major stadium show in the United States in 2025.

On Monday, July 15 new details were reported by Fightful Select regarding AEW’s plans for upcoming shows in the Texas area, following their Path to All In series of events in Arlington, TX throughout July and August.
According to sources with “knowledge of the situation” one of the planned events could be a stadium show in 2025, one which would be on par with “AEW’s biggest event”.
In a recent interview with Comicbook.com Tony Khan would address these reports, saying that those plans were not something in AEW”s immediate future – despite admitting that the idea was an exciting one, and the demand from Texan fans was there.

Khan said:
“It’s not something that we would be looking to do anytime here in the immediate future,” Khan said. “But it is an exciting idea and something I think that we absolutely could do and something that would be very interesting.”
“I can’t comment on the accuracy of such reports or the immediate future, but we’ve had great shows over the years in Texas.
“We’ve never done an AEW pay-per-view in Texas. We’ve done a lot of Ring of Honor pay-per-views there. A lot of AEW’s biggest TV episodes have been in Texas, but the one thing we’ve never brought is an AEW pay-per-view, and Lord knows there’s a lot of demand for it. I think that would be a fascinating thing for us to try.”
