Ahead of Blood & Guts, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone has received an award from the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Tony Schiavone became a legendary broadcaster as the voice of Jim Crocket Promotions and WCW starting in the 1980s until 2001.
In August 2019, Schiavone signed with All Elite Wrestling and began as one of their lead announcers for the company.
Working on both AEW Dynamite and Collision, Schiavone has once again become the voice of another major promotion in the business.
On July 19, Tony Schiavone was presented with the Gordon Solie Award by the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame.
AEW posted a video documenting Schiavone receiving this great honor in Waterloo, Iowa.
