Amid his ongoing absence, former AEW TNT Champion Sammy Guevara has shared an update on his and Tay Melo’s in-ring returns.
In May 2023, Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo revealed that they will be having their first child. This led to Tay taking time away from in-ring competition to give birth to the child and become a mother for the first time.
Meanwhile, Guevara continued to wrestle until he was suspended for not following concussion protocol in an AEW Rampage match against Jeff Hardy in February.
As previously reported, Guevara could be poised to make his return to All Elite Wrestling soon.
On July 23, Sammy Guevara took to social media to share an update on his and Tay Melo’s in-ring returns. He wrote:

Guevara last wrestled in a No DQ Match against Powerhouse Hobbs on the February 24 edition of AEW Collision.
It remains to be seen when Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo will make their in-ring returns at the time of this writing.
