A top AEW star has said that they want a WWE Hall of Famer to join the company after their recent WWE departure.
It was recently reported that WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix was no longer under contract to WWE.
Beth had served as a commentator for the NXT brand between 2019 and 2021, before leaving her role at the desk.
Since then, she has competed in numerous matches alongside her husband Edge (Adam Copeland), with her last being back at Elimination Chamber in 2023, where they teamed to defeat Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley.
With Copeland leaving WWE last September and joining AEW, this has naturally led to some fan speculation that Beth could end up joining the company alongside her husband upon his return to injury.
When the question of whether or not you’d like to see Beth Phoenix in AEW was posed on Twitter, former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker responded, simply stating:
