An update has emerged on AEW’s TV rights discussions with Warner Bros Discovery, ahead of any announcements about AEW’s future on TV.

With AEW Dynamite, Rampage and Collision airing across TBS and TNT weekly, AEW’s relationship with the owner of the networks Warner Bros Discovery is an important one.
Ahead of AEW’s TV rights contracts coming up, AEW has been in talks with WBD about a potential new deal.

Fightful Select now reports that the exclusive negotiating window between the two sides ended this week. Fightful hasn’t learned if a new deal has been reached between AEW and WBD, with the report noting that the conversation was ongoing over the past week.
The report also noted that Tony Khan and WBD sources confirmed that Khan and WBD CEO David Zaslav are set to meet this weekend in Paris during the Olympics.

WBD sources also reportedly told Fightful that there has been “ongoing dialogue” about synergy, co-promotion, and upcoming plans between the two sides, which reportedly speak weekly.
A WBD source also reportedly stated that with every deal they negotiate, they have the MAX streaming platform in mind.
With the exclusive negotiating window ending, All Elite Wrestling would theoretically be able to enter discussions with other networks about TV rights.
