Further reporting has emerged regarding the legitimate suspension of AEW star Britt Baker following an incident relating to MJF.

Dave Meltzer first reported Baker had been suspended for “one or two weeks” and fined by AEW’s disciplinary committee following an investigation into an incident that occurred backstage at Dynamite on July 17.
Now, Fightful Select has shared more details, reporting that Baker “exercised frustration” about MJF in the women’s locker room.

Alicia Atout, MJF’s girlfriend, who recently joined AEW as a backstage interviewer, was in the locker room at the time, and word about Baker’s comments made its way back to him.
There were said to be “confrontations” between Atout and Baker, and also between MJF and Baker. Will Ospreay was said to have “spoken with” Baker at one point as well.

Baker reportedly took issue with Atout “telling MJF” what Baker had said about him in the locker room.
The report notes that MJF and Britt Baker used to be close friends, but they actually had a falling out “at some point in the last year”.
Baker is scheduled for a match against Mercedes Mone at AEW All In London at Wembley Stadium on August 25, while MJF is set for a match against Will Ospreay.
