Former AEW International Champion Will Ospreay has revealed the reason why he still will not use AEW signature move, Tiger Driver 91.
At AEW Dynasty, Will Ospreay defeated Bryan Danielson in a first time ever meeting. During the course of the bout, Ospreay hit Danielson with the Tiger Driver 91 with Bryan being unable to leave the ring under his own power after the match.
During the post show media scrum, Ospreay revealed that he would not use the Tiger Driver 91 following that bout. Since then, the move has become a big part of his character direction with his refusal to use it in major matches.
After MJF used the Tiger Driver on his former rival Michael Oku at RevPro Summer Sizzle, Ospreay stated that he was willing to beat Friedman at All In London by any means necessary, including that move.
Following a video package talking about the move on the August 17 AEW Collision, Will Ospreay took to social media to reveal the reason why he still doesn’t want to use the Tiger Driver 91. Noting Bryan Danielson will need neck surgery this year, he wrote:
The fact that Danielson is gonna get neck surgery later this year and it stems from our encounter from Dynasty is enough for me to not wanna touch this move.

Will Ospreay is set to challenge MJF for the AEW American Championship on Sunday, August 25 at AEW All In London.
