Former two-time AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy is set to make his CMLL debut in Arena Mexico.

In 2024, All Elite Wrestling has sent several stars over to Arena Mexico to appear for their partner promotion, CMLL.
From Bryan Danielson and the Blackpool Combat Club to MJF and the Death Triangle, CMLL has benefitted from featuring top talent from AEW.

On August 28, CMLL announced Orange Cassidy will make his debut with the company by teaming with Rocky Romero and reigning MLW Heavyweight Champion Satoshi Kojima against Volador Jr., Ultimo Guerrero and ROH TV Champion Atlantis Jr. at their 91st Anniversary Show on September 13.
The show will also feature former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho making his official in-ring return to CMLL for the first time since 1995 when he faces Mistico.

The partnership between AEW and CMLL has seen various stars going back and forth, including Mistico, Hechicero, Claudio Castagnoli and more.
Cassidy last wrestled in a win alongside HOOK, Mark Briscoe and Kyle O’Reilly over Roderick Strong, Big Bill, Bryan Keith and Chris Jericho on the August 28 edition of AEW Dynamite.
