Having been absent from AEW since March 30, 2024, Ricky Starks will be making a public appearance this Sunday.
Starks was last seen on the March 30 episode of AEW Collision teaming with Big Bill and taking on Top Flight in the World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarter Final.
Highlights from that match can be seen below this news story with Starks’ only match since being for BTW in May 2024.
A meet and greet opportunity has now been advertised featuring the AEW star and will take place on September 22.
The event will take place at The Wrestling Universe with the ticket site stating:
Join the in-store meet and greet with Ricky Starks at The Wrestling Universe, located at 19907 34th Ave, Flushing, NY 11358, on Sunday, September 22nd, from 12-3 PM.
Starks has commented on the rare appearance on Twitter, posting:

During the pre-AEW All In media call, Tony Khan addressed Ricky Starks’ status with the company.
He would confirm that Starks is still under AEW contract and is a “well-regarded wrestler”.
Starks has previously reacted to suggestions that he had issues with AEW creative, dismissing the online claims.
A recent report has stated that WWE has “significant interest” in Ricky Starks when he becomes available.
