Ahead of the Grand Slam event in New York, a new report has revealed talk of a potential new AEW faction coming.
Deonna Purrazzo signed with All Elite Wrestling in January and has been involved in some high profile rivalries with the likes of Timeless Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa since then.
The former multi-time TNA Knockouts World Champion has further cemented her “Virtousa” character with vignettes and given time to talk to get her character over.
According to a new report from PWInsider, there has been talk of building a faction around Deonna Purrazzo.
Purrazzo has been associated with Taya Valkyrie in storyline during her feud with Thunder Rosa this past summer, but no word on if she will be included in the new stable.
It remains to be seen if and when Purrazzo will introduce a new faction on AEW programming at the time of this writing.
“The Virtousa” last wrestled in a loss to Hikaru Shida on the September 6 edition of AEW Collision.
