A popular wrestler was backstage at this week’s AEW Collision tapings.
In recent weeks, the relationship between WWE and TNA has grown, with numerous NXT stars, such as Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry, making surprise appearances on NXT television.
There are numerous top TNA names that fans are hoping to see make an appearance on NXT television, one of which being ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey.
Bailey is currently signed to TNA, but he made a stop by this week’s AEW Collision taping on Thursday.
Per Fightful Select, Bailey was backstage at this week’s Collision taping, where he was said to have been visiting friends.
Bailey was welcomed backstage, as he has many connections in the promotion.
Fightful has not heard of any talks between Bailey and AEW beyond him making an appearance backstage, and he is still under a contract to TNA until the end of the year.
Fightful notes that there has long been interest from a number of companies in potentially using Bailey.
Bailey has previously spoken about how he almost signed with WWE several years ago, but the company’s changes in hiring guidelines prevented it.
