The high-stakes Bryan Danielson vs Jon Moxley match at AEW WrestleDream 2024 has concluded and there are big headlines coming out of it.

The biggest is that per the stipulation Bryan Danielson laid out himself, his full-time career as a professional wrestler is over.
With the AEW World Championship on the line, Jon Moxley picked up the win against Danielson in the WrestleDream main event.

With Danielson in a choke, he didn’t tap out but the referee determined he’d passed out and called for the bell.
However, scoring the win wasn’t where things ended for Moxley as he, Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli and Pac continued an assault on Danielson post-match.

Darby Allin and Wheeler Yuta came out to make the save, or so it seemed.
Instead, Yuta attacked Allin and then, at the behest of Moxley, put a plastic bag over Danielson’s head, just like Moxley did to Danielson at AEW All Out.
As more babyfaces from the locker room came out, Moxley’s group fled and the the show went off the air with medical personnel and members of the locker room attempting to help Danielson as he was set to be stretchered away.
